biography

Rebecca Bernau (born in Aachen, Germany, 1982) is a contemporary artist who has dedicated her career to figurative painting. Art and painting have been her passion and a significant part of her life from an early age on. However, After school she INITIALLY pursued a path towards art-teaching and studied design technology, media design, and literary studies at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal to become an art teacher in a vocational school environment.
Even though she received a job offer after her graduation, she then made the decision to fully immerse herself in painting again.
